Since we’ re fawning over red cars today...
This one has been for sale locally for a while. It once again triggered my Eagle search in Craigslist so I thought I’d share it.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Very fast! Lots of exclamation marks! And lots of aftermarket companies and other terminology I don’t pretend to recognize.

You just bought a new vehicle and you’re still car shopping?

I like it but I don’t love it. DSMs should be AWD. I know if I had a FWD one I wouldn’t be happy. No matter how nice it was.

Mainly I haven’t turned off all of the random email alerts I accumulated.
Plus, if an AMC Eagle did pop up locally, I’d definitely want to know.

That seems reasonable for the vehicle. Only thing that would make it better is AWD.

Diamon Star Motors. The collaboration of Chrysler and Mitsubishi. Usually used only for the cars built at the Illinois, not any of the models built in Japan and imported like the Starion/Conquest, and my Galant VR-4. I’m not sure about the 3000gt/Stealth.

I’ve owned both a 1990 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo (FWD) and also a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Both awesome cars. The FWD Plymouth was faster due to the lighter weight, and actually more fun to drive. Best damn car I ever owned. Bought her new in 1009, had her for 7 years and never put a dime into maintenance other than the standard. She was my daily driver AND Auto X car. Very competitive , fast and light.
I woul d be all over this if it wasn’t so heavily modified. Most DSMs were ridden hard and put away wet. Fairly cheap and easy to modify to well over 300 HP but rarely well maintained. If this was stock, I would be driving to Indy with cash in hand.
Also, no pictures of the interior scares the hell out of me.

Wow he pretty much copied my setup I had on my 98 awd Talon.
I miss that car often. Made 310 or so to the wheels on a mustang dyno. I scared a few Camaro owners here and there
